Jimmy´s Hall Review
Hi everyone!
I'm going to talk about the movie "Jimmy's Hall" by the director Ken Loach, made in 2014. I liked the movie and I think that is less dramatic than The Wind that Shakes the Barley, just as told to you in the past blog.
About the "Jimmy's Hall", I liked the movie because I don't knew the character of the James Gralton in the real life, so was very interesting know his. Besides, the movie is attractive for to know about the Irish culture for the epoque.
My favorite character is Jimmy, because he's very sensible about the things that he do and think. He always did things thinking in the community, his Hall was a space where people can learn differents aspects for his culture and the other countrys like jazz from the United States.
I don't liked from the movie that in sometimes it's very slow. I liked the cinematographic, the photografic and landscape that appear in the movie.
My favorite scene was the final, when the police take off a Jimmy and the community go in bicicle to accompany and they block the pace for the wagon where he went. It was very emotional and represent that Jimmy thunk for the best of the people of his territory.

I also think that the movie becomes slow sometimes. But is a very good film! See you Dani :D
